1. On the plane Warszawa has an international airport. There
are numerous cheap airlines flying mainly out of London directly to
Warsaw. There is a possibility of arranging the bus transfer
en'route Warszawa - Ketrzyn and back. We recommend too small airfield in Ketrzyn for
avionettes, witch until 1945 had direct connection with Berlin! Today lot of private aircrafts come here. The
airfield has all the necessary infrastructure for landing, refueling and
maintaining the aircraft. It is 7 km away from hotel and we can manage
the transfer into the hotel. Exact info you can get at the airfield: tel. +48 89 752
3031, fax. + 48 89 752 4049, e-mail: port@lotniskoketrzyn.pl 2. With your own vehicle Worth paying attention are two routes * 750km from Berlin over border crossing
Pomellen/Kolbaskowo, later on over Szczecin, Gdansk, Olsztyn * 660km from Berlin over border crossing Frankfurt
Oder/Swiecko, later on over Poznan, Torun, Olsztyn Both routes you can accomplish in about 10-12
hrs. Along the way you will find lots of gas stations with bars
and toilets. Gasoline Euro Super costs about € 1,50 (Dec. 2011). At hotel we provide upon request garage or secured
parking (€ 25,- per vehicle
per week) 3. On the
train Worth attention is the train from Berlin East
Station at 6:45am with the train transfer in Poznan into Elk at
11:00am. Into Ketrzyn you arrive at 6:03pm. Another connections you can find in the
internet. Ketrzyn's train station is located about 500m away
from the Koch Hotel ***, where you can find the taxi stand (the taxi to hotel costs about € 4,-) 4. On the bus In the tourist season you can find lots of
competitive bus connections into Poland (mainly over night buses). Ash
your local bus operator. |
