Mazury „Land of
1000 Lakes” With all those
numerous lakes, plains, green forrests it is considered one of the most
beautiful regions of Europe. Imagine
this experience: sunset over the mazurian lake! The biggest lake
Sniardwy with the area of 114 km2 is reasonably called „Mazurian See”. All of
them are the 5% of country's area, with the depths reaching 60 m. |

Day 1 - Arrival into
Mazury Individual arrival to Kętrzyn. Check in and
dinner at Hotel KOCH ***. Visiting the town. Day 2-6 - transfer from
hotel into yacht marina in Sztynort.
There, you board your yacht, and receive briefing and maps over the
lakes. Your yacht will be your home for the next 5
days. You can get to know the entire Mazury, with its
numerous canals, wild nature islands (ex. Cormoran Island) and coloresque
landscapes. You have about 100 km of waterways ahead to
follow, so you can feel as if you were on the trail of Christopher Columbus. Along the way you have many options where to drop
the anchor at various marinas. There
you can do shopping or pay a visit to restaurants and bars. Day 7 - return of yacht in Sztynort, transfer
into the Koch hotel, night on HB basis. Day 8 –
“Good bye to Mazury”. Transfer to
Warsaw or extension of the stay. |

Pure nature in Mazury
Geographical name Mazury is associated with southern part
of Baltic plains. There has been no historical region Mazury, no state, nor
county. It takes about 11.000 square kilometers of land, out of which south and
southeast were Eastern Prussia. These days Mazury are called “Green lungs of Poland”,
therefore it became renown touristical region. Beautiful landscapes, clean air,
and pure nature attract people looking for peace and recreation. After the ice
age landscape contains numerous lakes (over 3.000), pure forests and coloresque
plains and fields. Its a dream land for active recreation, especially to be
discovered on the boat.
