Round trip – MAZURY BICYCLE TOUR - guided or unguided

(Code MU, 8 days, 7 nights)

	Day 1 : Ketrzyn Individual arrival to Ketrzyn. Check in and dinner at Hotel Koch***, 2 nights. On your wish, you can spend the arrival day visiting the town – 1329 Teutonic Knights castle with the museum, St. George’s gothic cathedral with crystal ceiling.
	Day 2 : Gierloz, Owczarnia After breakfast you receive your bikes and area map with exact route descriptions. The route cycling takes you through fields and woods to former Hitler’s Headquarter in Gierloż. Here you can take your time and visit it with the guide, who surely tells the story of Hitler’s of assasination attempt on July 20^th 1944, performed by Graf von Stauffenberg. Then the route takes you through the wood to Eva Braun’s estate and to the Mazurian Muzeum in Owczarnia. Here you have the opportunity to have your lunch followed by home made cake and a cup of coffe. Dinner and night at hotel “KOCH”. “Black” route about 33km
	Day 3 : Sztynort, Gizycko First we are going by bike to Sztynort. Here was placed the residence of Lehndorff family. The last owner Henry von Lehndorff was hanged for taking part in assasination against Hitler in 1944. The next stage of todays trip is Gizycko. If you wish you may visit Prussian fortress Boyen or church built in accordnance to the design made by well-known German architect Schinkel. Your night’s accomodation is provided in a 3 Star hotel in Gizycko. “Green” route about 56 km
	Day 4 : Ryn, Mikolajki Today with your bikes you are taking a tour vessel through Niegocin lake to Szymonka. After, about 2 hrs. trip you begin biking in direction of Ryn. There, you may visit yacht and “White Fleet” marina as well as middle ages built castle. After that you go to Mikolajki - used to be ancient fishing settlement which developed today into the main centre of water sports in Poland. “Red“ route about 31 km
	Day 5 : Krutyn Today you are going to Piska forest. After a short run through the woods including ferry transfer across Beldany Lake, you arrive to the Wierzba village. Here on Sniardwy Lake’s peninsula is located the Polish Science Institute’s of “Polish pony – (special breed) called tarpan” farm. Then through the woods to Ruciane Nida and through the “Royal Pine” reservoir to Krutyn. “Green” route about 45 km
	Day 6 : Mragowo You start the day out Kayak rafting (2 to3 hours) along the crystal clear Krutynia River (average depth 0.9 m).  Later your route takes you through the forest to Pierslawek and your day ends at a friendly B&B in Mragowo. “Yellow” route about 30 km
	Day 7 : Sw. Lipka, Ketrzyn After breakfast you are cycling to Sw. Lipka.  The village is home to Poland's most important pilgrimage destination, an astonishing Baroque church holding a famed Organ with moving figures.  Later our journey takes you to the town, where it all started Ketrzyn, into Hotel Koch. “Blue” route about 45 km
	Day 8 : “Good Bye Mazury” After breakfast you can checkout.You may also wish to extend your stay as many do.
